He felt sorry that Vanja was under the impression that they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

She revealed that she had four careers. In addition to dancing, Vanja was a professional permanent makeup artist, a vegan baker, and a medical sales rep. She called herself a “type A personality” and a Jill of all trades.

Vanja told the cameras that Božo was a very successful basketball player. When Božo had his introduction, Božo said that he was not even 6 feet tall, but he played 3-on-3 basketball and 5-on-5 basketball semi-pro. He was lying to the cameras because, during a conversation with his mother later in the episode, he admitted that he told Vanja that he played basketball, to which his mother replied that Božo wasn’t making any money from playing basketball since it was more a “recreational thing.” Božo finally revealed that he made some money playing basketball.

“Vanja she doesn’t know that I’m jobless, so I’m building some anxieties, you know, fear.”

However, he was soon replaced by other players who were “better, taller” than him. Božo felt insecure about the fact that Vanja was a successful woman, and he did not even come close to her qualities and the amount of hard work Vanja put in to be successful. It made Božo feel like a “little bit less man.” He felt like he was not good enough for her and that he was going to disappoint her when Vanja found out.

Božo had to live under the same roof as his mom and her sister, Božo’s aunt. He felt like an “old, rusty Cadillac” from living there while not being married and not having any kids. Božo was shown praying for a job and an apartment of his own.

A couple of months later, he texted Vanja to tell her he was no longer with the other woman and wanted to work on his relationship with Vanja again. Božo had referred to this woman as his “biggest love.”

This seems to have been the woman he’d dumped Vanja for the first time. Rachelle from Montana, who now lives in Bosnia, has since appeared in several pictures with Božo on his social media, suggesting Božo never ended up dating Vanja.
