However, she found a temporary cure for her problems in traveling. Varya believes that traveling heals all her emotional wounds. Hiking helps transform her emotional pain into physical pain, which makes life “bearable.” Every time Varya has to go somewhere, it helps her escape feeling sad and anxious. “And Geoffrey lives vicariously through me,” she admitted. Varya added that there are a few people who communicate with her on a deeper level.
