HYPE |
MARKET |
PITCH |
SELL |
This category felt pretty straightforward today. None of the other words were about selling something; these words all had to do with promoting something. Writers are fairly aware of having to MARKET or PITCH various works, which perhaps gave me a slight advantage. However, not much else felt like it fit, and I would have felt slightly slighted if these words were not in the same category.

CAST |
CHUCK |
FLING |
HURL |
The main problem in this category is FLING, as it does look like it could go with ROMANCE and fit into their own category. However, no other two words fit into that idea, and looking at HURL, CHUCK, and CAST, it felt a little easier to put this one together and ignore the tricky word. Nice synonym-filled categories make it easier to complete the puzzle and not have to make as wild of guesses on the last two categories.

ROMANCE |
TRAVEL |
As someone who once wrote a very long paper about every fictional genre that likely annoyed my English teacher and who spends an absurd amount of time in bookstores, I felt this category stood out and felt easier than it could have. If I had not written that paper, this category could have felt trickier, with TRAVEL being the one that might not immediately catch people’s attention as a genre. ROMANCE could also be tricky, as stated before, but it is a well-known genre/section at the bookstore for most people, even if they do not read it themselves.

ANKLE |
CREW |
SWEAT |
TUBE |
I am not sure if I had ever heard of SWEAT socks specifically before now, and TUBE is a rarer form of socks to find at the store, at least in the ones I have looked at. ANKLE and CREW, however, are very popular and easier to identify. As it was the last category we had left, it was fairly simple to finish the puzzle, but I could see this being a bit tricky if you try to solve it earlier in the puzzle.
