Professors Sada and Turo are certainly two of the most intriguing characters from the modern Pokémon games. As the final boss of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, these two proved to be an immense challenge for players everywhere, and their departure brought an emotional conclusion to Arven’s story that left people wanting more. Fortunately, there is one spin-off game that could allow for one of these two professors to eventually return.
Pokémon Masters EX has been a popular spin-off mobile title for the past five years. It features countless iconic characters from across the entire Pokémon franchise, including the various gym leaders, protagonists, and even villains. With more and more characters from Scarlet and Violet being added to the roster, it only seems natural that Professor Sada or Turo will eventually make an appearance as well.

Familiar NPCs And Paradox Pokémon Have Already Appeared
Numerous beloved characters from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games have already made their appearances in Pokémon Masters EX, including beloved NPCs like Nemona, Arven, and Penny. Pro battlers like Rika and Larry have also been added due to being incredibly strong members of the Paldean Elite Four. The most recent announcement revealed that the academy director Clavell and Team Star Leader Giacomo are the newest characters that can be collected, revealing that Pokémon Masters EX is finally starting to add more Scarlet and Violet characters besides the gym leaders and protagonists.
On top of that, numerous Paradox Pokémon have also begun to make their debut in Masters EX. There was recently a special sygna suit for Nemona that featured the ancient Pokémon Scream Tail, which had mysteriously made its way to the Pasio Region. With this in mind, it seems like it is only a matter of time before more sync pairs featuring Paradox Pokémon are introduced, and the professors seem like prime candidates.

How Professors Sada & Turo Would Work In Masters EX
These Sync Pairs Would Feature Powerful Paradox Pokémon
When looking at the teams Sada and Turo had in Scarlet and Violet, it seems only natural that they would have Koraidon or Miraidon respectively as part of their sync pair. This is due to the fact that these legendary Pokémon were their ace monsters during the final battle, and are the ones that they have the strongest association with. Although it is possible that the games’ protagonists Florian and Juliana could also end up with these Legendaries due to their strong bond, there has been a pattern of protagonists having the starters as part of their sync pairs, leaving the professors with the stronger Pokémon.

There is always the possibility of the professors utilizing other Paradox Pokémon other than Koraidon and Miraidon, given the fact that their final teams featured numerous powerful variants, such as Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant. However, only time will tell if this will actually be the case.

Characters Can Reunite And Form New Friendships
After the introduction of numerous characters from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, it became clear that the interactions between characters in Masters EX were not limited by the timeline. Characters from the past, including Rei, Akari, and Volo, could still find a way to miraculously appear in the present in the Pasio Region. Considering the fact that the last glimpse players see of Professor Sada or Turo is them traveling with their time machine, it is entirely possible for them to find a way back to the present, whether through scientific or mystical means.
The sheer number of characters that are in Masters EX provides the possibility for some incredible interactions. Sada and Turo could meet fellow professors like Oak, or talk to scientists like Colress to uncover brand-new discoveries. Most importantly, however, it would provide a chance for Arven to reunite with his only parent, offering players the opportunity to witness a very heartfelt and touching reunion.
Professor Sada and Turo clearly made an impact on players back when they were introduced, making them truly iconic characters. Not only are they both part of interesting stories and have great interactions with other characters, but they are also incredibly powerful opponents, making them a great challenge for players. With all this in mind, it only feels right that Professor Sada or Turo could be next in line as the next Pokémon characters to be added to Masters EX.
