Bad Boys 4 Dominates VOD Charts After $395M Box Office Success

Bad Boys: Ride or Die dominates VOD charts following its theatrical success. Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the latest installment in the Bad Boys franchise features Will Smith and Martin Lawrence back as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, respectively. Bad Boys: Ride or Die reviews may have been somewhat lukewarm, but the film has been a major success commercially. The hit sequel arrived on VOD platforms on July 23.




New data from IndieWire now reveals that Bad Boys: Ride or Die was the top-performing VOD movie on iTunes on July 29, and on Fandango at Home for the week of July 22 – 28. iTunes ranks titles by number of transactions while Fandango at Home ranks by revenue, with the action sequel beating the likes of Civil War, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and Horizon: An American Saga.
