Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment is a month removed from the release of Elden Ring Nightreign, but is setting the stage for the rest of 2025 with a livestream going into detail about its upcoming slate of games. We’re well past the flurry of announcements from Summer Game Fest, but new info from major industry players hasn’t yet slowed down.
June 2025’s Capcom Spotlight was just last week, for instance, which showed off the hacking and third-person shooting mechanics of Pragmata, the upcoming DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, and offered more insight into Resident Evil Requiem, among other things. Now it’s almost time for another major Japanese publisher, Bandai Namco, to take the stage, giving us a fresh look at games and updates coming throughout the next year and into 2026.

While many games have been revealed ahead of time, you shouldn’t rule out some surprises. Since June 30, 2025, marks the 30th anniversary of the original Ace Combat (originally known as Air Combat) releasing in Japan, many fans are expecting the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase to announce Ace Combat 8, seeing as it’s been six years since Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
It’s also pertinent to note that some games are still fairly far from release. The Blood of Dawnwalker, a promising open-world RPG, is set to come out in 2026, and the My Hero Academia game could potentially be scheduled for next year as well. Regardless, Bandai Namco Entertainment‘s slate for its Summer Showcase is quite enticing, and should be well worth tuning in for.
