The Boys
season 4 finale hints at The Seven having more power than ever.
As The Boys season 4 comes to an end, actor Nathan Mitchell looks at what may be in store for Black Noir II’s future with The Seven in season 5. With the introduction of a new Black Noir in The Boys season 4, The Seven has managed to keep the dark secret from the world about how Homelander murdered the original hero. However, the longer the actor has been part of The Seven throughout The Boys season 4, the closer he is now starting to become more like his fellow members.
Screen Rant recently spoke with Black Noir II himself as Mitchell was asked if the latest member of The Seven may be beyond redemption. Given the dark progression of Black Noir II in The Boys season 4, Mitchell spoke about how his character “is pretty committed to his role” while foreshadowing that his involvement with The Seven will “bring up different conflicts” as they go into the final season, sharing the following:
Mitchell
: That’s a good question. I think with Noir II, I think he’s pretty committed to his role. I think that’s going to bring up different conflicts as time goes on. But for now, he’s a member of The Seven and he’s also a committed actor, and being a committed actor and a member of The Seven requires killing people. So does he have a moment where he sees the light? I don’t know. Maybe for him that is the light. We’ll have to see, so I don’t know. But I know that the one thing that hasn’t changed is that he’s committed to doing the best job he can in this role.
What Will The Seven Be Up To In The Boys Season 5?
Homelander’s Supe Team Will Have More Power Than Ever
With The Boys season 5 confirmed to be the show’s final one, it begs the question of what The Seven will now be up to when the series returns for its last episodes. The Boys season 4 finale saw Homelander get his biggest win in the show’s whole run, with him and The Seven now having more power than ever through the government. Now that Marshall Law has been declared, superheroes all over the world are not only deputized but also reporting to Homelander.
Whenever The Boys season 5 happens, it will likely do a time jump to establish what the world looks like now, especially for supes and the rise of power for The Seven. But as The Boys season 5 plot details are being kept under wraps, time will tell what the remaining members of The Seven will be doing in the final season. It also remains to be seen if new members will be taking over as A-Train has cut ties with the group.

The Boys season 4 has doubled down on The Deep being a terrible person, with this scene confirming that the series will never redeem him.
Needless to say, The Boys season 4 went out with more bangs than one, with most of The Boys in captivity, Butcher battling the ticking time bomb in his brain, and Starlight left alone – albeit with renewed powers – to formulate a plan of action. Once The Boys season 5 starts shooting, which will likely be in the fall, it will likely give a better idea of what is in store for the final season.
