Eiza González is keeping a career trend going with her new movie Ash after appearing in the cast of Netflix’s 3 Body Problem in 2024. The 35-year-old actress has established herself as one of the most exciting leading women in Hollywood over the past decade, with Eiza González’s best movies including franchise titles like Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs And Shaw and Godzilla Vs. Kong, as well as one-off hits like Baby Driver. 2025 should be another huge year for her, with her starring in at least two feature films.

Eiza González played a supporting role as the character Auggie, and she’ll be returning for 3 Body Problem season 2, which is anticipated to be released in 2026. This is the beginning of an interesting niche for the actress, after also appearing in a Godzilla movie, Bloodshot, and Alita: Battle Angel, all within the last seven years.
Now, with Ash being released in late March, Eiza González will have appeared in five prominent science fiction titles, lending her talents to a genre that’s known for frequently bringing in viewership. 3 Body Problem is the most extensive sci-fi role she’s had, playing a character across eight episodes of a show known for its advanced nature, as opposed to her previous movies, which have been far more focused on mixing sci-fi concepts with action.
