A potentially very powerful glitch has been discovered in Elden Ring Nightreign, letting players duplicate items they’ve found during an expedition. FromSoftware’s cooperative roguelite relies heavily on RNG to give players varying experiences between runs in what is ultimately a rather repetitive gameplay loop, but this new glitch could be the difference between winning and losing against a Nightlord.
A glitch has been discovered that allows a full team to duplicate items, according to Kotaku. It involves manipulating the game’s servers to essentially let two players pick up the same item simultaneously, but because of how Nightreign multiplayer lobbies are formed, the host cannot perform the glitch. You therefore need a full stack and a party chat, since Nightreign doesn’t support in-game voice chat. While the host isn’t able to duplicate items themselves, they can pick up the duplicated items created by their teammates.
