Foreign 90 Day Fiancé Cast Member Leaves America Following Deportation Threats & Trump’s Victory

Mohamed Abdelhamed from 90 Day Fiancé has left the United States after Donald Trump’s win in the 2024 US elections and deportation threats from Yvette “Yve” Arellano. The Egyptian native first appeared in season 9 with Yve, who is from New Mexico. Right from the beginning of the season, Yve and Mohamed seemed incompatible, but they decided to overlook their differences and tied the knot. During 90 Day Fiancé season 9 Tell All, Mohamed confessed to cheating on Yve by sending inappropriate messages and photos to another woman online. However, he vowed never to betray her trust again.

Following a domestic dispute, Mohamed and Yve separated in September 2022. He began living independently in New Mexico, where he was spotted working at Costco Wholesale.

Recently, Mohamed surprised his Instagram followers by sharing an unexpected life update. He posted a photo of a dock at the Citadel of Qaitbay in Alexandria, Egypt, indicating he’s no longer in the United States. Although the 90 Day Fiancé alum didn’t provide many details, he used a heart emoji to express his love for his home country. Additionally, Mohamed posted other Instagram Stories implying that he had returned home but didn’t confirm if this move was permanent.

What Does Mohamed Abdelhamed’s Move To Egypt Mean?

Mohamed Might Be In Egypt Looking For A Wife

Mohamed’s latest update from Egypt could suggest various possibilities. After being in the United States for over two years, he might have returned to his home country to see his family. He may be feeling homesick. On the other hand, Mohamed’s return to Egypt may also be driven by fear. With Trump becoming the 47th President of the United States of America in November 2024, there is a risk of deportation for those who have entered the country illegally, likely including Mohamed, who has been accused by his American wife, Yve, of scamming her to gain entry into America.

Mohamed’s pictures from Egypt also show him traveling alone, indicating he doesn’t have a partner yet.

If the Egyptian man is still single, he may be in his home country to find the ideal woman for himself. Mohamed, who’s a Muslim, adheres to his culture and traditions and likely desires a partner who understands her responsibilities according to Islamic values. Mohamed had issues with how his former American wife, Yve, behaved and dressed. Therefore, he may have traveled to his home country to marry someone who is more compatible with him.

Our Take On Mohamed’s Egypt Move

Mohamed Was Accused Of Committing Marriage Fraud

Mohamed likely made the right decision by leaving for Egypt shortly after Trump’s presidency. Despite his current status in the United States, he is accused of committing marriage fraud by Yve, possibly to obtain a green card. He also cheated on her and is accused of planning their domestic dispute. Mohamed has a history of being dishonest, and Yve’s findings could incriminate him in court. This may be why the 90 Day Fiancé alum has chosen to stay low in Egypt for a few more months, as he could face permanent deportation.
