Slower players may miss out on hundreds of free Primogems in Genshin Impact 5.1 if they do not catch up on some specific type of content beforehand, according to new leaks about the patch. Currently, the action RPG by HoYoverse is in the midst of Version 5.0, the first Natlan patch that not only introduced the Nation of Pyro, but several new gameplay mechanics and the continuation of the main story arc. Of course, the new Genshin Impact 5.0 Natlan characters also made their debut, kicking off the arrival of the Nightsoul’s Blessing gameplay mechanics.
Version 5.1 is bound to arrive soon and the developer has already confirmed that the Geo character Xilonen is the next playable unit. A lot about her gameplay kit has already leaked, indicating how she will play. Aside from Xilonen, several other details about Version 5.1 have already leaked ahead of its official release. There have been mentions of new rewards in the Imaginarium Theater in Genshin Impact 5.1, for instance. Now, leaks indicate that some players will have access to hundreds of free Primogems in Version 5.1, whereas others will be permanently locked out of the prize.
Genshin Impact 5.1 Indicate Up To 400 Free Primogems For Players
Rumors Indicate There Are No New Areas In Natlan With The Next Patch
According to information shared by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was posted on Reddit, players will be able to get up to 400 free Primogems in Version 5.1 as part of exploration feats. The leak highlights that the update will not feature any new areas within Natlan, but players will be rewarded for exploring what has been released of the Nation of Pyro so far. The rewards will be given out based on each player’s Natlan Exploration Progress, meaning they will need to increase their exploration achievements within Natlan in Genshin Impact.
Natlan Exploration Progress can be checked via the Tribe Reputation system at the Obsidian Totem Poles in each of the Natlan tribes.
Players May Lose Access To The Rumored Free Primogems In Genshin Impact 5.1
The Free Primogems May Be Limited To The Update, Thus, Unclaimable After It
The concerning part about the leak is that the reward will allegedly only be given out during Version 5.1. This means that players who are not caught up with exploring Natlan and fail to do so throughout the duration of Version 5.1 will be permanently locked out of the rumored 400 free Primogems. This seems like an event made to compensate for the lack of a new area and reward players for exploring Natlan so far, but it can also feel like it is punishing slower players or those who just started exploring Teyvat in Genshin Impact.
If the leak is true, players should start accelerating their exploration to ensure they will not miss the rumored Primogems in Version 5.1. The leak does not specify how much of the Natlan Exploration Progress needs to be completed to claim the rumored reward. The leak should be taken with a grain of salt, as this is still highly subject to change and, perhaps, even removal ahead of the update’s official release. The information may be confirmed during the Genshin Impact 5.1 livestream, which should occur on September 27 if there are no delays to the upcoming content.
