Harley Quinn the Beefcake Queen Barbarian Returns in Stunning Art By Riccardo Federici For New Story

Harley Quinn #43 Barbarian-2

Fans were first introduced to the war hammer-wielding Gotham City Siren in Harley Quinn #36 through a variant cover by Steve Beach for the backup story, Harley the Barbarian.Beach’s art reimagined Harley as a ripped, battle-hardened barbarian standing atop a mound of her defeated foes, including Batman’s broken form. Poison Ivy was also notably featured in the scene, wearing a leaf-green chainmail bikini and lounging at Harley’s feet, sharing in the victory. This cover provided cosplayers with a fantastic look at Harley’s battle-ready armor, muscular physique, and enormous war hammer, making it perfect for cosplay inspiration.

Beach’s variant cover notably focused on the front view of Harley’s armor, while Federici’s provides fans with a view of the back of Harley’s Conan the Barbarian-inspired design. Federici’s variant cover offers a superb look at the back of the Siren’s chest armor, her spiked garter, red loin cloth, and the stitching on her boots. Additionally, Federici’s art features Harley in action, battling a Lovecraftian monster, which gives cosplayers an idea of how the armor should move. By combining Beach and Federici’s variant covers, fans now have a complete image of Harley’s barbarian look, providing the perfect blueprint for cosplay.
