Using Lingsha’s best build in Honkai: Star Rail can substantially increase her performance as a healer in team comps and her offensive presence against opponents’ Toughness bars. Lingsha is a 4-star Fire character who follows the Path of the Abundance and, as such, her main task in team comps is to heal her allies, both by restoring HP and by cleansing debuffs on them. One of Lingsha’s main benefits is doing both and triggering the effects for the entire team with follow-up attacks. However, you will need to work on her build after gathering Lingsha’s materials in Honkai: Star Rail.
Once that is done, you can fully unlock Lingsha’s potential. The character’s Skill attacks opponents in an AoE (area of effect) and brings her summon, Fuyuan, to the field. This summon operates at a fixed SPD, but it can use follow-up attacks on enemies to deal damage, heal all allies, and dispel up to one debuff from all allies at once. The range of her healing has the potential to make Lingsha the best healer in Honkai: Star Rail, but you will have to thoroughly work on her build and team comps to ensure she is always working.
Best Light Cones For Lingsha
There Are Limited Options For The Healer
The first thing to do when working on Lingsha’s build is to find her a suitable Light Cone. The best Light Cone for Lingsha is Scent Alone Stays True, her signature 5-star weapon. By equipping it, Lingsha gets a 60% Break Effect bonus. After she uses her Ultimate to attack enemy targets, she inflicts them with the Woefree state for two turns. Woefree enemies take 10% increased DMG – the increased DMG effect is buffed by an additional 8% if Lingsha’s Break Effect is 150% or higher.
The table below lists the best builds for Lingsha in Honkai: Star Rail, including recommended Light Cones, best Relics, ideal stats, and more:

If you do not have access to Scent Alone Stays True, the task is finding a Light Cone with Break Effect, ATK, or Energy Regeneration Rate at the forefront. The second best 5-star Light Cone for Lingsha is Echoes of the Coffin, Luocha’s signature weapon. With it, Lingsha’s ATK is boosted by 24% and, after she uses an attack, for each different target hit, she regenerates 3 Energy – each attack can regenerate Energy this way up to three times. Additionally, after she uses her Ultimate, all allies gain 12 SPD for one turn in Honkai: Star Rail.
You could also use Night of Fright 5-star Light Cone for increased Energy Regeneration Rate and team buffs.
At the moment, there is no F2P (free-to-play) 5-star Light Cone to use. If you cannot use any of the aforementioned 5-star weapons, you may have to rely on a 4-star Light Cone. The best 4-star Light Cone for Lingsha is Post-Op Conversation. While it does not have Break Effect bonuses, they are compensated for with its other effects. Post-Op Conversation increases Lingsha’s Energy Regeneration Rate by 8% and boosts Outgoing Healing when she uses her Ultimate by 12%.
Alternatively, you could use the Shared Feeling or What Is Real? Light Cones. The former boosts Outgoing Healing and helps regenerate allies’ Energy, while the latter boosts the user’s Break Effect and helps them restore their own HP after using a Basic ATK. Other than those, there are not many Abundance Light Cones that currently serve Lingsha and her needs. What Is Real? is a F2P 4-star Light Cone obtainable through the Forgotten Hall store, so you do not need to use any 3-star Light Cones in case you don’t have the other Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best Relics, Ornaments, & Stats For Lingsha
Break Effect & SPD Are Crucial For The Healer
You must also equip Lingsha with Relics and Ornaments that fit her gameplay style. For Relics, you will have two distinct options. If you are building a more wide-encompassing version of the healer for several types of team comps, you can mix the Iron Cavalry Against The Scourge and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace Relic pieces for a 16% Break Effect bonus and a 6% SPD increase, respectively. This will allow Lingsha to move faster within the Action Bar and have a boost to her main stat in Honkai: Star Rail.
If you are using Lingsha for a Super Break DMG team comp, in which she excels as the best healer, you can equip all four pieces of Iron Cavalry Against The Scourge. This will unlock the aforementioned 16% Break Effect and, if her Break Effect is 150% or higher, she will ignore 10% of the enemy’s DEF when dealing Break DMG to them. Furthermore, if her Break DMG is 250% or higher, Super Break DMG she deals to enemies ignores an extra 15% of the opponent’s DEF. This allows her to deal more DMG to opponents in Honkai: Star Rail.
Overall, the combo of Iron Cavalry Against The Scourge and Messenger Traversing Hackerspace is the best Relic combination for Lingsha as a healer.
For Ornaments, you also have two options. By using the Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern set, Lingsha’s SPD is boosted by 6% and when she hits an enemy with Fire Weakness, her Break Effect is boosted by 40% for one turn. This is a great bonus, but it will require an enemy with Fire Weaknesses to be fully triggered. For a more consistent bonus that is not reliant on enemies, Talia: Kingdom of Banditry is also a good Ornament set for Lingsha.
With it, Lingsha gets a 16% Break Effect bonus. Additionally, when her SPD reaches 145 or higher, she gets an extra 20% Break Effect. The bonus is inferior to that provided by Forge of the Kalpagni set, but it will always be active, considering Lingsha’s SPD should be at least 145.
The best stats for Lingsha in Honkai: Star Rail are Break Effect, SPD, ATK, and Energy Regeneration Rate. When building her, you should try and reach over 200% Break Effect (250% if you are using all four pieces of the Iron Cavalry Against The Scourge Relic set) and at least 145 SPD. ATK and Energy Regeneration Rate should be as high as possible, though Break Effect and SPD take priority over them.
Best Team Comps For Lingsha
The Versatile Healer Fits Into A Variety Of Teams
Despite some of her specialties, Lingsha is a very versatile healer. She is best inserted into a Super Break DMG team comp and works wonderfully alongside a DPS like Firefly or Boothill. With Ruan Mei and the Harmony Trailblazer, that team could pummel through rows of opponents with ease and safety, thanks to Lingsha’s healing abilities. She could also serve as a healer in a follow-up team comp with Topaz, Robin, and Feixiao in Honkai: Star Rail, for example.
The table below lists a few team comp suggestions for Lingsha:
Best Team Comps For Lingsha In Honkai: Star Rail |
|
---|---|
Premium Super Break DMG Team |
|
Follow-Up HP-Loss Team |
|
Budget-Friendly (F2P) Hypercarry Team Comp |
|
One of the curious aspects of Lingsha’s build is that her follow-up attacks can be triggered once an ally’s current HP drops to 60% or lower, which would then result in a team-wide healing and cleansing effect. As such, she also works well with HP-loss characters, such as Blade. Lingsha can be placed in any team comp, but the more her follow-up attacks are triggered, the stronger she is as a healer.
Trace (Skill) Priority For Lingsha
Lingsha’s Talent & Ultimate Are Of The Utmost Priority
When you are working on Lingsha’s Traces, you may have to prioritize leveling up some of them over others. After unlocking all extra abilities, you should prioritize boosting Lingsha’s Talent, which is what determines the power of her follow-up attacks and main source of healing. Immediately after that, you should improve Lingsha’s Ultimate. Her Skill takes priority after those two Traces and, if you desire, you are not really required to upgrade Lingsha’s Basic ATK in Honkai: Star Rail.
Lingsha’s build can be a little bit wonky depending on how you plan on using her. The lack of more Light Cone options with stats that fit her needs is also troublesome, but there are ways of mitigating that, even if she does not reach her full potential. Nevertheless, any team would benefit from having Lingsha in it, and she is easily one of the most reliable healers in Honkai: Star Rail, perhaps surpassing Huohuo and Luocha.
