Wisdom is one of the five Royal Virtues in Metaphor: ReFantazio. It is a crucial stat that dictates your character’s understanding of the world and ability to make good choices. It is important for unlocking specific Follower Bond ranks and unlocking new dialogue options with NPCs. While your character’s starting Wisdom is low at the start of the game, it can be significantly increased through the many activities and quests you can participate in.
Activities like viewing notable landmarks, participating in ferry tours, exploring dungeons for the first time, and even simply spending time observing the world around you can contribute to your Wisdom growth. Metaphor: ReFantazio has better ways than Persona 5 to improve this stat. As your Wisdom increases, you ascend through various ranks, from “Naive” to “Sagacious,” which will unlock new features and make the game a whole lot more fun.
The Best Ways To Increase Wisdom
To increase your Wisdom Royal Virtue in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you need to do specific activities and complete quests that reward you with Wisdom points. The activities are spread across various locations and require different methods to complete. These activities can include observing the view of the Royal Capital in Sunlumeo Street, Grand Trad, or other ways. For a more adventurous method, you can take a scenic Ferry Tour on Seabreeze Street, Port Brilehaven, or climb the Watchtower in Angler’s Inn Square, Port Brilehaven.

The best way to boost your Wisdom in Metaphor: ReFantazio is to complete the Help the Hushed Honeybee quest. This quest is found on Sunlumeo Street in Grand Trad, and it involves aiding Fabienne in the Honeybee’s kitchen. This quest will take an entire evening. When you’re done, you’ll receive a substantial Wisdom boost, which will help you quickly reach Wisdom Rank 2. Otherwise, simply spending time at the bench near the Igniter shop on Sunlumeo Street is a great way to increase Wisdom, but it’s significantly slower than the quest.
Every Rank
Metaphor: ReFantazio doesn’t just have you rely on your best guess at how smart you are. There is a series of ranks that you can go through that tell you how wise your character is. The first rank, Naive, is what you get when you first start the game. As you go through the world and do activities that increase your Wisdom, you rank up, which was seen in the demo. The ranks, in order, are Naive, Informed, Knowledgeable, Erudite, and finally Sagacious.
Going through the ranks isn’t easy, and if you focus on a single trait, you won’t see it full until close to the mid-game. If you split your time evenly, you won’t even get to finish filling up some of your ranks. So, it’s a good idea if you focus on the ranks you need the most. Wisdom is definitely one of the better traits to have in Metaphor ReFantazio. So, it’s a good idea to focus on this trait.
If you have trouble doing certain activities or talking to certain companions, check back as you rank up your Wisdom. Some things may become possible if your rank is higher.
If you increase Wisdom, you’ll get many benefits that primarily affect your interactions with the world and your followers in Metaphor: ReFantazio. As you rank up, you’ll see new dialogue options that will give you a better understanding of your companions or help you in situations. You also gain access to exclusive quests and activities. Higher Wisdom ranks will also let you unlock special Follower Bond ranks, allowing you to use new strategies in combat.
