Fresh off the critically acclaimed Wicked, Jon M. Chu’s animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss’s Oh, the Places You’ll Go! now has an official release date. The film, developed as an animated musical by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, follows a young adventurer navigating life’s challenges and triumphs in a vibrant, imaginative world. Based on the esteemed writer’s final published book in 1990, Chu’s adaptation of Oh, The Places You’ll Go! will continue Dr. Seuss’s cinematic universe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the animated musical is set for a theatrical release date of March 17, 2028. Co-directed by Jill Culton (Abominable), Oh, the Places You’ll Go! will feature a screenplay by Rob Lieber and original songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the EGOT-winning duo behind La La Land and The Greatest Showman.
