Sakamoto Days is officially premiering January 11, 2025, and there’s a gorgeous new trailer to go along with that reveal. Sakamoto Days stars the eponymous Taro Sakamoto, a man who was once the world’s greatest assassin suddenly forced back into action after years of retirement; the premise takes clear inspiration from the John Wick franchise, and the action is similarly great in its creativity and overall craft.
Netflix’s Sakamoto Days is one of the most hotly anticipated new anime of 2025, and there’s finally new information for people to go on. A new trailer has just been released, and in addition to how perfectly the manga’s signature action was brought to life, Sakamoto Days ’ new trailer revealed that the anime will premiere on January 11, 2025, and will run for two non-consecutive cours, with the second cour starting in July of the same year.
