Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer’s next project at Netflix is based on a crime thriller. The coming-of-age horror series starring Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven is coming to an end this year, with season 5, the final season, arriving on Netflix in three parts. The first four episodes will be released in November, followed by the next three episodes in December, while the series finale will arrive on December 31.

As the Duffer Brothers wrap their hit Netflix series, they are looking to adapt Ron Currie’s crime thriller novel The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne, next for Netflix, according to Deadline. The script will be penned by the novelist and his writing partner Joshua Mohr, who will also serve as executive producers.

The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne revolves around its namesake, a small-town grandmother and crime matriarch, who navigates unusual circumstances while trying to uncover the circumstances surrounding her youngest daughter’s death. In addition to this, the Duffer brothers also have two other Netflix shows coming in 2026.
