New content is coming for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 throughout 2025, and it promises to enrich all the game’s modes. Space Marine 2 initially launched in September 2024, and the developers at Saber Interactive briefly outlined a roadmap for new content to be added to the game post-launch.
Saber has now provided more details on the new content players can look forward to throughout 2025. All the game’s main modes have been addressed, with major additions coming to the game’s PvE and PvP multiplayer modes in the form of new maps, enemies, cosmetics, and an all-new playable Champion.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Is Getting PvE & PvP Updates In 2025
New Modes & Custom Lobbies Are Coming
On publisher Focus Entertainment‘s website, the devs start off by apologizing to PvP fans who have felt underserved by their support for the mode so far and promise an influx of new content specifically for Space Marine 2‘s competitive multiplayer. First and foremost, a new PvP map is coming, one designed around a network of narrow passages that will encourage more of a focus on melee combat. More excitingly, custom PvP lobbies will be added to Space Marine 2 in patch 7.0, allowing players to tweak the parameters for their games and customize things like the score caps and class limits per team.
