Faster has been thrilling audiences with its nonstop action, including an exciting car chase that showcases the main character, Jimmy Cullen’s, car. In Faster, Dwayne Johnson’s character, Jimmy Cullen, drives a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS which he retrieves after his release from prison. The car serves almost as its own character, especially in the scene in which Cullen engages in a car chase with Killer. While Chevelles in general are well-known cars, the 1970 Chevelle was particularly well-received, so it makes sense that a character like Jimmy Cullen would drive a car known for being quite fast and well-made.

As a main character in the Fast & Furious franchise, Luke Hobbs has driven a variety of unique cars. In his first appearance in the series, Fast Five, Luke Hobbs is introduced driving a Gurkha LAPV, an armored vehicle used by military or law enforcement officials, setting up Hobbs’s interest in powerful cars.
