The Vampires Following Guillermo’s Career Change Sounds Hilarious For What We Do In The Shadows Season 6

Guillermo realizes he no longer wants to be a vampire after his dream is briefly realized in season 5

In the What We Do in the Shadows season 5 finale titled “Exit Interview”, Guillermo realizes that he no longer wants to be a vampire after being turned by Derek (Chris Sandiford) following years of being refused by Nandor. While Guillermo’s fascination with becoming a vampire has been a major aspect of his character since the very first episode, he surprisingly decides that he made the wrong choice after briefly realizing his dream. Nandor finds out that Guillermo has turned and says he’s going to kill him, causing Guillermo to flee.

As for where things pick up in What We Do in the Shadows season 6, Guillermo goes back to working a normal 9 to 5 job and being a human again. According to Entertainment Weekly, season 6 showrunner Paul Simms reveals that the vampires follow Guillermo as he tries to readjust to reality after leaving the Vampire Mansion. “There’s some very fun stuff about Guillermo working in a normal office the way normal people do, but Nadja and Nandor also show up to help him out.” The fact that Nadja and Nandor feel they have to join him in a 9 to 5 to help him is perfectly hilarious.
