There is a season 6 dating storyline for Welcome to Plathville patriarch, Barry Plath, and it’s time to find out if he is dating anyone after the show. Barry and his now-ex, Kim Plath, raised their children in a very conservative and religious environment. Barry and Kim had 10 children (one deceased), and they, as well as eight of their children, are featured on the show. Kim was the homeschooler for the kids while Barry worked to provide for the family. The Plaths had a large farm in Cairo, Georgia, while the kids were growing up.
The Plath kids described that they weren’t allowed to drink soda or watch TV. Dating was also very rigid and taboo. Oldest Plath brother, Ethan, married his wife Olivia when they were 18, and always vocalized the negative aspects of their upbringing. In any case, throughout the first few seasons of the show, fans watched the Plath family move into a different Cairo house. Viewers also witnessed the older Plath kids move out and both Kim and Barry become more open to things and release some of the reigns.

Who Is Barry Dating After Welcome To Plathville Season 6?
Is Barry Over Kim?
Unfortunately, since Barry is not on social media and keeps his life private while the show is not airing, it’s difficult to know if anything came to fruition regarding his dating life and the women in Micah’s DMs.
The whole Plath family is good at keeping their storylines under wraps while they are in between seasons. In any case, Kim and Barry started their divorce process in December 2021, so it has almost been four years.
Their divorce is not finalized as they work out more arrangements and financial details. Since they were married for 24 years, there is likely still pain, at least for Barry, there. Kim has made it seem like she has moved on, and the divorce is being dragged out. Welcome to Plathville dad Barry wasn’t the one who wanted the divorce, but he now has options, although it’s unclear if he is acting on those.
