Harley Quinn Leans Into the Holidays With a Christmas Costume in This DC Comics Cosplay

A wildly talented Harley Quinn cosplayer has officially won the holiday season with a costume that’s equal parts festive and comic-accurate. Seeing the Gotham City Siren come to life in such stunning detail sets the bar sky-high, and it’s impossible not to want more of DC’s most iconic characters to get the same festive treatment—especially when paired with a set design as jaw-dropping as this one.

This Harley Quinn cosplay embraces a festive aesthetic that looks like it was pulled straight out of Mrs. Claus’ ‘naughty closet.’

X user @supervisor039, a talented Russian cosplayer, has taken the art of cosplay to the next level by creating her own show-stopping costumes. While she’s impressed with countless portrayals, one look has truly stolen the spotlight this holiday season: her Santa Claus-inspired Harley Quinn.

What sets this cosplay apart is its stunning accuracy—Supervisor has brought to life a canon design straight from Harley Quinn Holiday Special #1 (2014) by Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, Alain Mauricet, and Dave McCaig. By transforming one of the Gotham City Siren’s most festive and unique outfits from page to reality, she’s delivered a cosplay that’s as impressive as it is seasonally spectacular.

Like Harley’s costume in her 2014 Holiday Special, Supervisor’s outfit embraces a festive aesthetic that looks like it was pulled straight out of Mrs. Claus’ ‘naughty closet.’ The ensemble features a long-sleeve bustier sporting Harley’s iconic red and black color scheme, complete with her signature diamond insignia—three red diamonds placed along the black half of the torso. However, it’s the white fur trim along the hips, neckline, and cuffs that truly pushes this outfit into festive territory, perfectly mimicking the fur trim typically associated with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus.

Adding even more holiday cheer is the Santa hat Supervisor dons, though with a brilliant Harley Quinn twist. Rather than the traditional solid red design, this cap splits down the center, forming two cone-shaped lengths—one red and the other black—each ending in a fluffy white pom-pom. This unique style is an unmistakable nod to Harley’s iconic jester hood, seamlessly blending her classic look with festive flair. Supervisor’s attention to detail takes the cosplay to the next level, from the jingle bell-adorned black collar to the mismatched red and black boots trimmed with white fur, and finally, the unmistakable mallet—all of which perfectly replicate the comic art that inspired this incredible cosplay.

The Stunning Christmas Decorations Help Elevate This Cosplay to the Next Level

Like any good Harley Quinn cosplay, Supervisor’s portrayal of the Gotham Siren goes beyond her canon-accurate costume, capturing the hairstyle and makeup Harley sported during this particular era in DC Comics. Supervisor perfectly replicates Harley’s signature red and black hair that defined her character during the New 52 era, along with her iconic powder-white skin and matching red-and-black makeup. Additionally, the festive Christmas set adds an extra layer of charm, elevating this cosplay into one of the most well-executed and unique Harley Quinn portrayals to date.
