Part of what made the first Scream movie work so well was the dramatic reveal that the Ghostface Killer was not one, but two murderers working in tandem. This twist only works as well as it does thanks to Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard’s devious performance as Stu and Billy. Ulrich went on to become a TV darling thanks to roles in shows like Riverdale and Jericho.
Meanwhile, Matthew Lillard became recognizable as Scooby-Doo‘s Shaggy, not to mention horror projects like 13 Ghosts and Five Nights at Freddy’s. Skeet Ulrich and Matthew Lillard will reunite at long last thanks to MegaCon Orlando, chatting with fans in a discussion moderated by experienced host, celebrity interviewer and singer Heather Reicher. The pop culture pull of MegaCon Orlando extends far beyond the mid 90s and 2000s. Even lauded actors as distinguished as Mel Gibson will be in attendance, thanks to panels like the Mel Gibson Spotlight. First rising to fame thanks to the original Mad Max trilogy, Gibson became an international star thanks to unforgettable films like Braveheart, Signs, and the Lethal Weapon action films.
Granted, Mel Gibson has become quite a controversial figure in the modern day, popping up in news cycles multiple times for his blatantly reprehensible comments, only some of which have been apologized for. Still, there’s no denying his talent for acting even years later, proving he still had what it takes to deliver a hit in Hacksaw Ridge. Attendees can decide on his legacy for themselves in the Main Theater at 6:30pm at MegaCon Orlando.

But before that, Purnell became noteworthy for her performance in Yellowjackets, an ongoing tale of survival told from the perspective of a group of plane crash survivors.
Her hot streak of recognizable acting credits hasn’t ended with TV shows, appearing in well-known films like Maleficent, Churchill, and Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead. Recent blockbusters like Gladiator II and A Quiet Place: Day One have since bolstered his already impressive resume.
Of course, the most anticipated film to join Joseph Quinn’s filmography is the upcoming Fantastic Four: First Steps, in which Quinn will be following the footsteps of Chris Evans and Michael B. Jordan by playing Johnny Storm, a.k.a. The Human Torch. Needless to say, Joseph Quinn will have a lot to say about his past and future roles in his much-anticipated solo panel at 4:30pm in Theater #2. Guiding the discussion will be his fellow Joe, ScreenRant’s Joe Deckelmeier.

The Many Faces Of Andy Serkis
Sunday, February 9th
There are few names in geeky pop culture circles more venerated than the iconic Andy Serkis. The British actor is a groundbreaking force in cinema, pioneering the idea of motion-captured CGI performances with characters like Gollum from the Lord of the Rings trilogy or King Kong in Peter Jackson’s take on the classic creature feature of the same name. Serkis even proved that such an animated character could lead a franchise, doing so as Caesar in Matt Reeves’ Planet of the Apes sequel trilogy.
Andy Serkis is just as talented an actor without motion-capture dots covering his every move as he is with them. Serkis has played in many more traditional roles as well, notably superhero characters like Alfred in The Batman and Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther. It’s safe to say that Andy Serkis’ panel at 3:15pm in Theater #2 will be among the most heavily attended at MegaCon Orlando.
