Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Dune: Prophecy episode 5!Dune: Prophecy‘s season finale trailer has been released, revealing Valya confronting a betrayal within the Sisterhood as Shai-Hulud’s presence looms over the story. Dune: Prophecy episode 5 ends with the shocking revelation that Desmond Hart (Travis Fimmel) is of both House Harkonnen and House Atreides heritage, and that he was abandoned by his mother at a young age. Tula (Olivia Williams) discovers this information, with her reaction heavily implying the possibility that he is actually her son with Orry Atreides (Milo Callaghan).
Now, Max has released a trailer for Dune: Prophecy episode 6, showing as Valya (Emily Watson) prepares for a final standoff against Desmond to bring the Sisterhood back to power in the Imperium. However, the Emperor’s soldiers are also shown attacking their home, with the Mother Superior forced to fight. This all seemingly stems from a mysterious betrayal she never saw coming, as Sisters begin to flee their home within the midst of conflict.
In addition, Emperor Javicco (Mark Strong) can be seen sleeping with Sister Francesca (Tabu), who is seemingly starting to influence him more than Desmond or Natalya (Jodhi May). Keiran (Chris Mason) is also seen being beaten and questioned by soldiers, unwilling to give anything up, while he’s also briefly seen fighting soldiers alongside Ynez (Sarah-Sofie Boussnina). Tula is also shown in a panic, while one of the Sisters is seemingly burned by Desmond. The ending shows a young Valya in an ice storm before Shai-Hulud looms above Arrakis’ surface.
